Vanessa Arelle is a strategy consultant specialising in corporate diplomacy, soft power, and ecosystem-building at the intersection of culture, policy, and innovation. Her work focuses on designing strategic frameworks and dialogue-driven platforms that enable meaningful collaboration across public, private, and non-profit sectors, with the aim of strengthening institutional trust, social impact, and long-term value creation.

 

From 2011 to 2015, she served as Cultural Attaché for Mexico in the United Kingdom, where she led high-profile cultural diplomacy initiatives, international partnerships and collaborations with all mayor institutions across the UK and in Mexico. She was Project Director of Yoko Ono’s IMAGINE PEACE project for the London 2012 Olympic Games, delivering a globally recognised programme at the convergence of art, peace-building, and public engagement and has been a regular contributor to Vogue Mexico and Vogue Latin America since 2014, writing on culture, society, and contemporary influence. 

 

Vanessa’s governance and NGO advisory board experience includes serving as Trustee of Fashion Revolution (UK), Board Member of Art Production Fund (US) and Remake.world (US), Board Member of LBS Out In Business (OiB) and Strategic Cultural Advisor to the Contemporary Istanbul Art, Culture and Education Foundation (Turkey). 

 

She was a fellow at Legatum Institute and RSA (UK), Currently heading the international expansion for Goleadoras Foundation that supports the personal and emotional development of girls and young women though football currently operating in 3 countries and growing partnerships with national teams and league champions. She has advised corporate clients, local and national governments, as well as NGOs and multilateral organisations on impact-driven strategy and systemic change.

 

A regular speaker and moderator including: TEDx Marrakesh, Yale Jackson Institute for Global Affairs, Bosphorus Summit, Contemporary Istanbul, LBS, Horasis Global Meeting, Yunus Center, TERN & Techfugees, Babson Connect Worldwide, Extreme Hangout, Nova SBE and has been featured on various podcasts about social impact and entrepreneurial practices. She has also been featured as an art collector in Christie's Collecting Art Series. And in various publications throughout her career from professional to impact, philanthropy and art collecting. 

 

She is the originator of the concept of “Actionism”—a philosophy that reframes traditional activism into constructive, outcome-oriented action. Using actionism, she works with organisations and individuals to move from rhetoric to implementation, transforming systems, behaviours, and outputs in ways that generate measurable, human-centred impact.
